About East Valley Endoscopy

Welcome to East Valley Endoscopy, a free-standing ambulatory surgery center, which is owned and operated by the Digestive Disease Consultants.

East Valley Endoscopy has been recognized by the U.S. Census Bureau by our participation in the "National Survey of Ambulatory Surgery" in 2006 for both hospitals and freestanding facilities. Our center was given the honor and recognition of providing quality patient care, and was the third highest rated healthcare facility in the nation out of participating ASCs in that survey.

Hours of operation are 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, except for holidays. The center performs elective diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures to ambulatory patients with gastrointestinal complaints, or patients that may require a screening procedure.

Intravenous (IV) moderate sedation is utilized by trained nursing staff under the direction of the physician. There is no general anesthesia used at this Facility. All patients are monitored before, during and after the procedure following the safety precautions that are essential to safe and quality patient care.

Our Mission Statement is simple: We strive to provide the highest quality outpatient endoscopy and clinical services available. These include skilled nursing for patient's admissions, assistance to the physician during the procedure, patient monitoring and recovery utilizing a controlled nursing process. East Valley Endoscopy uses only "State of the Art" equipment. The center provides the highest standard of endoscope processing that is continually managed and evaluated by our quality control program. It has recently obtained the highest citation possible in 2008 by credentialing boards.
